The Carl Larsson Exhibition at the Waldemarsudde Museum

Freya, Karin and Aina had a wonderful Sunday in the park and at the museum in the centre of Stockholm. The Waldemarsudde mansion was the home of Prince Eugen, "the prince of arts". Taking photos at the exhibition is not allowed, so please see http://www.waldemarsudde.se/
for more info about Carl Larsson, Prince Eugen and the museum
Freya enjoyed her lunch in Prince Eugen's kitchen, which is a kafé nowadays.

Prince Eugen's "private apartment" with two of his most famous paintings, The Cloud and The Old Castle. Not allowed to take photos here either, so grandma only took 2, standing behind the door.

We never miss out the museum shop

Waiting for ma in the park. I have made the necklace/bracelet myself

No ma, you drive, I take care of your ice-cream

Too much money spent in the museum shop grandma!

We had a day out with some friends and went to Skansen, a park that lies in the middle of Stockholm. It's both a cultural cantre with old buildings from different times in swedish history and from differrent parts of the country, in the summer they often have people showing how to make differrent old crafts, there's.

Goats

The park also features animals, like elks and seals, wolf and bear but also the old species of our domestic animals like cows and horses.
