She also has a lot say!

The many faces of Freya - part 1

These were all taken in about 20 minutes in the sandbox. To say that Freya has an "expressive" face is call Mt. Everest "tall"

The tour to Abisko June 30 - July 3rd 2009, about 30 photos and video clips

Arlanda Airport: Freya flirting with a boy of her own age in the opposite side of the café
We are going for a 3 day trip to Abisko, between Kiruna and Narvik, far above the polar circle to look at the flowers, snow covered mountains and the midnight sun
Day 1: June 30th 2009
Anna and Freya in the beginning of the rainy Rombak tour
Anna and Freya at Rombak trail in Norway
Walking 12 km on the Rombak trail from Riksgränsen (the Swedish/Norwegian border) which was used when the railway between Kiruna and Narvik was built more than 100 years ago. Very important for the export of iron from Kiruna as the Narvik harbour is open the whole winter. Magnificent views and lots of flowers.
Freya was happy she brought three horses
Lunch
Mum, why did you put a cotton bag on my head?
Steep, but not this steep. Forgot to put the camera horisontal, again, when taking video clip
Crossing Rombak river several times
Hello! I'm still happy
Playing in the hut
Rombaksbotten: Hiding from the rain. The hut was called Paul's hut actually.
The Rombak fiord: Waiting for the 2 hours boat tour to Narvik, Norway
"Shrimp dinner" on the boat
We had to buy new clothes for Freya in Narvik. Everything was wet after 6 hours of walking in the rain. We were out totally 13 hours. Freya happy all the time.
Day 2: We had a 15 minute helicopter tour
The co-pilot, mormor Aina
The lake Torneträsk, Abisko river and grandma's foot
The Låktatjåkka hut, the highest situated restaurant in Sweden, famous gourmet restaurant as well
To the right: Abisko Mountain Lodge where we stayed
Sometimes they have time for tourists. Their main job is to transport the sami people's house wear up to their summer camps in the mountains. The reindeers goes by trailer nowadays
Day 2: View from the lift up to Nuolja
Boring views?

The famous view, Lapporten, the "Sami Gate"
Day 3: Walking about 5 hours just the four of us with our guide Claes. Lovely day as you can see!
